Jul 24, 2021 · My new LCP max has 100 rounds down range and shoots awesome. I think it will likely be the gun I carry the most, going forward. It used to be the G42. But now I get 21 rounds on body with one spare mag, vs 13 rounds with the G42. And the LCP max is smaller than the G42 as well. Recently I got a Glock 42 trade for a Charter Arms .38 Undercover. Now happily I have tons of .380 components and can reload to my hearts content. Lucky me. The 42 is smaller than 9mms yet it still shoots very well and is very reliable. The 42 is almost like shooting a .22lr compared to the recoil of the smaller LCP, but since my only real accuracy issue is along the vertical axis and that only an inch or so at 7 yards.
