Meritage homes review.
I closed on my home 7/20/2021. I have several unresolved warranty issues that have been ignored or completely rejected for over a year. The biggest are my patio door that opens on the wrong side, the $20k in plumbing work needed to correct a bad pitch problem identified by 7 plumbers including Meritage contractor Dupree Plumbing, venting issues with the HVAC & fireplace, & now a broken A/C.

Pros. Even though Meritage Homes is a large company, the culture feels like family. As a sales counselor, I am well supported by my sales leaders, marketing team, and construction team. Hours are awesome - 10 am. to 6 pm, only till 5 pm during winter hours. Model homes are well appointed and traffic into the model is decent.
