Cold Dark Apostate would likely be generally OK, you'll just use a lot of light as well since any undead will stop both of your damage types. I don't recommend grinding past lives 1-20 unless you've already finished the 48 EPLs. They're even introducing more EPLs soon as well. Each time you TR at Lvl 20, you're basically throwing away all of the first time bonuses in Epics, which are quite juicy.
