IMO if you don’t have geant armor the only armors worth really upgrading is the vios armors, as they’re basically better versions of the red box armors from aelio. Greas armor isn’t even worth the extra 3 PP you get, especially if you’re already in a full set of geant.I don't see the stat gains on the screen when equipping potency floor augments on my armor only my weapons. it won't display on the weapon (item stat screen in general is both buggy and dumb - all 1.5% augs are rounded down to 1% in that display) but it will work in combat. That's assuming you're wearing no armor. The red box armor pieces already give a PP increase as well, and a 1% potency increase. They also have no debuffs on those armor pieces. So no, it's a 3% increase in dps and a small boost in PP overall. Absolutely not worth it when you factor in the massive decrease in HP and defense overall.

Stia will come with new units and 8* weapons. If you're brand new with no weapon to farm with, it's worth investing in 7* weapons and some gear in order to farm with ppl. I've seen a lot of people pretty disappointed with Geant Armor due to the stated negative side effects on the armor. In my opinion Geant Armor is amazing, as any playstyle. If you can get everything to line up perfectly, even if you had under 300 HP you could still survive a hit from most Giga attacks.
