Bouchaine Vineyards was a new find for us. I had no idea this expansive, beautiful winery tucked back in Carneros existed. The Carneros AVA (America Viticultural Area) is the most southern AVA in Napa and is known for producing amazing Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. Bouchaine wines do not disappoint. Many forget how close Napa Valley sits to San Francisco, but Bouchaine is a great reminder of that. Located just 45 minutes from the city, the setting feels worlds apart. What is particularly special about Bouchaine is that it backs up to the San Francisco bay. So that means two things. First, 360 views of Napa Valley and the San Francisco bay.
