Very few people here could give you information about the kind of application you're looking for. I do know this. If you are looking for high power, your best off getting an pre '85 22R block. (Yes 22R as in carburetted.)
I agree a 3rz swap is best. look at the HP to $ ratio. I priced the 22re-God motor at about 7-7500 and it wouldn't have been that great.
