There have been a small number of reports of this issue and it being resolved by disabling content sharing in the campaign and then re-enabling it. If you're unable to get this working, please raise a support ticket and our friendly support team will be happy to look into this for you.

I really want the ability to share characters that I create for my players with them: "here is the stripped down 4th level Bard that I generated for you.

Turning content sharing on or off won’t affect YOUR characters if you’ve only used elements that you have purchased here on D&D Beyond.
