Jan 24, 2018 · The pinch detectors are designed as a fail safe should there be something caught in the chute area of the Litter-Robot, such as a very adventurous cat that leaps in when rotating, and manages to get into a compromising position. Usually when an over torque fault occurs this is because the globe is taking more effort than usual to rotate. There can be a few causes for this, main one being the LR hasn't been cleaned in a while allowing enough litter to accumulate on the top of the base.
