Everything I'm reading just talks about dropping the pan and refilling after you reinstall it. I haven't seen anything about getting the rest of the fluid out. Is just dropping the pan sufficient?

This is a 62TE transmission, it has a filler tube but no dipstick, it does NOT have a sight/fill plug. I looked under and did not see a sight plug. 3 dealers I called did not show a listing for it.
