Looking at the M1 Amega Ranges installed on my "tanker" and the M14 Ultimak in the box, it's hard to tell which would sit lower on the M14. I'll probably end up buying the Amega Ranges mount as well, then selling off whichever one I'm least impressed with. One thing I have noticed about the Ultimak is that it has fewer screws than the Amega Ranges.
