C308 Handguard replacement? I finally got my Century Arms C308 to the range last week and put about 60 rounds through it at 100 yards. I love the gun, it shoots great, handling and accuracy are awesome. Aug 3, 2023 · The C308 has a polymer trigger housing and grip that sports the type of trigger you would expect from a battle rifle. The pull is long before it eventually gets to the sear. Once the take-up is taken care of, there is a hard pull followed by a decent break. As a battle rifle, the C308 has a heavy trigger pull weight.
Nov 9, 2015 · Over a 1000 rounds through mine without a single hiccup. Fit and finish is superb. Modifications include Bill Springfield trigger job, Model 10 muzzle brake from Amazon, polished cocking assembly and bolt carrier group for ease of stiffness when charging, Duracoat Tactical Flat OD Green furniture, replaced cocking tube dust cover with a G3 dust cover for looks. The C308 is built off of a mishmash of Cetme and HK parts. Those parts are compatible, but need more fitment and finish to mesh properly. Fit and finish is something Century is notoriously poor at.
