Doubts on Kemono Party's patreon uploader. Hello guys. As many of you probably know, artists' Patreon pages on Kemono Party haven't been updated in a little over a month. Aside from a teeny tiny message on top of the main page they've been keeping us in the dark, so I decided to ask on Telegram myself...but they banned me as soon as I joined.
They are .m3u8 files. These are playlist files that link either one video or multiple to a playlist. This is often used for YouTube, but is also known to be used by Patreon themselves as their own proprietary thing. For this reason, Patreon embedded videos will NOT work, no matter what you do. I believe how it works is someone with a Patreon subscription to said user takes the files and uploads them to kemono.party, but the problem is that some users are aware of kemono's existence and manage to ban the people who leak the files.
