I just finished taking the midterm for Optimization, worth 35% of the overall grade. I'd read the OMSCentral reviews for this course, was expecting a super low (75%-ish) grade for the exam, to be generously curved at the end of the semester - and was pleasantly surprised: the exam largely matched the posted practice exam, and so far as I can tell, there weren't really any 'trick' questions.
