This is wrong, the F-86 had radar gunsight. To correctly calculate the lead you need your own movement, that is achieves with the gyro part of the gunsight pretty easily. Harder part is the range to the target. So that is why even the later Spitfires and Mustangs have that gyro gunsight tech. This is arguably the best user-made gunsight in the game.
