The P322 is similar to a .22 training pistol in the sense that it looks and feels like a defensive style pistol. But unlike rimfire trainers such as the Glock 44 or the FN 502 Tactical, the P322 is not a 22 version of an existing model. IMHO, these features are a bonus compared to the SIG P322. And with 18+ I don't feel the SIG P322 holds significantly more rounds. Went with the Tx 22 because of reports that it can shoot anything. From what I read the P22 can have trouble with cheaper bulk ammo (including thunderbolts). Otherwise they seemed to be well matched. Also the p22 is outsourced so it doesn't really carry the same build quality as other Walters like the ppq. 2.
