DM only works with like 7 vanilla armors, otherwise characters become naked or prtially invisible when mutilation occurs. I took 20 mins to research the topic and have a chat and it seems like even the LE version of the mod was unstable to begin with. I mention this because any attempts I read about in porting that mod either continued that reputation and gave CTDs (mainly due to the fact that XPMSSE does not like to be overwritten) or ended like yours, half-baked.
