The base itself is located close to the southwest edge of the map, deep in the wilderness, very far from everything. Just glancing at the map makes it very much stand out from its surrounding wilderness.

In order to get to the base, the player needs to go to Rosewood. Halfway through the highway, the player will notice a road leading into the woods.
