Owned a 23 Seacraft after that! The Sea Ox is very well built, very solid! Yes they are oily so you should fillet them (you can leave the skin on) a little salt and pepper and roll them in yellow corn meal, fry in Crisco to golden brown and drain on a paper towel. For those not familiar with a Poke boat, Its a hybrid between a canoe and a kayak. Fiberglass, kayak length with the longer canoe opening. Very good for floating the rivers.
