If a collosal squid or a reaper shark spawns as the rare creature, mount and jump to the top of the abyss to despawn it and repeat until you find the wyrm. If you can get in and out of the 4th layer quickly enough i'd recommend doing that, the wyrm spawns more frequently there. Then with whatever best current loadout you can get, fight him.

Part of me wants them to leave the Yharon sprite for last so that the calamity bosses are all badass looking with super detailed sprites, and then there’s a chicken nugget. People complain about the DoG fight so they're completely overhauling it with the big sprite. Yharon has a good fight, just a very outdated sprite.
