There are always 4-5 girls a year that seem to make the team despite not being as good as the others. Maybe it’s because they’re cute, maybe they hope they’ll grow as a dancer, maybe they have killer personalities for appearances, maybe it’s an edited storyline or maybe it’s because they’re related to a coach. It happens.

There were other vets making mistakes in the background but they weren’t shown being called out. Hannah questioned their Covid procedures (and I don’t blame her, they were mostly for show. A true bubble would’ve meant no masks not masks sometimes but not others with no real reason why now but not then), so they were already mad at her.
Was recently re-watching DCC Making the Team on Paramount+. And I really didn’t care for Cassie, Judi’s daughter. To me she always seemed like she was untouchable and was always gonna make the team. Especially on season 6. She called out a rookie candidate in front of everyone and kind of came off really rude and unprofessional.
