There is one full front fork option from K-Tech and at least two different options from Ohlins. I don't know about the K-Tech forks, but the ones from Ohlins offer a considerable increase in bending stiffness which stiffens the entire front structure of the bike. This seems to be a good improvement for the crossplane R1 in particular and the ...To install the link there should be a shorter eye, and two sizes up stiffer spring. I got talked into trying Legends and allowing these people to install it. There in lies my mistake. I agree with your assessment on Ohlins vs Legends. In terms of the spring rate, it may have been a bit of a trade off for solo. Wife liked over stock. Progressive springs up front are doing the job nicely.
