As of writing this, I’m seeing that .50 Beowulf is selling for around $1.75 to $2.00 per round on AmmoSeek. Even with shipping, I wouldn’t expect to pay more than $2.00. The .458 SOCOM round is running slightly higher than the Beowulf at around $1.90 to $2.10 per round. This is pretty typical for pricing between the two bullets.

I live in lower Michigan as well. My 2 cents: 450 BM is a powerful cartridge but has quite a lot of drop out past 200. Theoretically you could take a deer energy wise out that far but the arc can start getting more difficult to compensate for. 350 Legend (disclaimer, this is the route I went) has a much higher velocity and doesn't have as much drop in trajectory as 450 BM.
