The Spanish Village Art Center is worth a visit while in Balboa Park. We were here a bit early before 11am, so some of the shops were not open yet, but we were still able to peruse a few of the galleries. There is a little coffee shop stand in the center and you can sit surrounded by the colorful tiles and artwork.After retiring I was looking for a hobby but ended up finding my true passion, Pine Needle Basketry.
